v-glide reverse wiring help
ok so ive been looking at the diagrams and i just wanted to know if wire #10 in the diagrams can be hooked up to 36v + instead of the i guess its the 18v +( or is it -?) i need to re-wire my cart and i have no old wiring to look at and i allso want 100% for reverse and forward

yes you can, its just set up that way so you dont kill yourself going backwards, but go ahead and move it if ya want, no harm.

If I remember correctly, on my cart it was a green wire, is that what you have?? Mines been recabled, but yes it is a positive cable, so put it at the forward battery on the passengers side Pos. terminal for full 48 Volt reverse

If you just want to try it out .....you can connect it to the other terminal on the bottom of the F&R. That cable goes to the POS battery 36v connection. If you like it I have seen carts run like that for years... Or I have installed a copper bar from one terminal to the other.... Anyway check out the note on the bottom of this drawing.

i dont have any wiring so i really dont know what color it was, but yea i figured the cart will be twice s fun with 48v for reverse. thanks for the info, this is my first time wiring a cart and hopefully it will move when im done

if your gonna have kids driving this cart al all you might want to leave your reverse at 1/2 speed as intended its a safety feature so no one kills their self while in reverse.........just a thought if any kids will be involved...............................
