Is this the same cart you said has no wiring in a different post and said you were rewiring anyway...if it is just do the rewire in 4 ga. and be done with it. Since you have a lift and tires, upgrades are probably in your future which would benefit from the nice big cables(controllers, motors, etc.)

no this isnt the same cart, i have a 93v-glide that i just built a 11" lift for and im upgrading to 48v but keeping the 36v motor(thats the cart that i need to completely rewire from my other post) and i have a 01 with just the 6" lift, and i think your right that a new controller and motor are in my future. but will i gain any torque/power with just the cable upgrade? i know this might sound dumb but will bigger cables damage my stock controller because of the more power flow?

if you upgrade all cables not just battery cables you,ll notice a little bit of speed but you have to do every 6 gage cable............upgrading to 4 or 2 gage if you leave a 6 gage in there its a bottleneck when the currant gets to it....................................

You won't hurt the stock controller with 4g or 2g. It will just enjoy any increase in the amps.

I upgraded all #6 to #2 and have a stock motor and controller, I did not gain any speed, if I gained torque it wasn't noticeable, But the wires don't get warm now, so I'm sure it done some good just not notable.

I do intend to upgrade motor and controller though.
