Default Jumping to the Motor

Hi, I'm a newbee to the site and to the world of electric golf carts.

I just got a 90 DS with newer batteries. The cart does not want to go. I wanted to make sure the motor was ok before I seek professional help. Can someone tell me how to jump from the batteries to the motor, I think I know how, but I want to make sure before I do anymore damage. If I can get the cart to move I would fell a heck of a lot better.

Thanks

1st welcome................have you tried the more basic stuff before you jump right to the motor? check the batts..............give cart a full charge than check voltage of each battery and than load test each one.......it only takes one to bring cart to a halt..............check cables make sure everything is clean and tight, tug twist each one........check all cables to motor..........have you jumped the solenoid to make sure its ok? if not do so......those motors are almost bullet proof and there are plenty of other things that will stop the cart other than the motor.......thats the last thing i would check if you havn,t checked and tested everything else out.....................
