Re: dead controller
I'd look at getting an Alltrax if that is the case. It would be like added Speed Code 4 as well for an additional bonus in getting your cart to 20+MPH and alot more torque at low and mid speeds.

Re: dead controller
Well, I smell something like a burnt smell and I was told that the controllers are kind of delicate. Some I took it out and it was coming from the controller. So I opened it and saw that is burnt inside. So I am looking for a new one now. Mine is the factory curtis that is 48 volt and 250 amp. I have a plum quick motor and was wondering if I should get an Altrax 300 amp or 400 amp instead of the factory club car one. Also will the 300 or 400 amp controller use up the battery power faster. My car is not lifted and it has 12 inch wheels with low profile tires. Before this I was running 21 mph on my gps.
Thank, Fred |

Re: dead controller
Is there any thing special that has to be done for the Altrax to go on the the car? Will it wire right up without cutting any wires?
Thank, Fred |

If you have a PQ already then you won't see any top speed difference but you would still get the torque at low and mid speeds. Did you upgrade your cables from 6 to 4 ga? |
