Default New to site and golf carts.

I all, I'm new to the world of golf carts and have a club car I use at work for my company. My question is- I have a flashing bat.lite on the dash- flashes all the time, seems to flash a code. one long flash and one short.
If some can tell me if this is so and what it means would be a great help.
The serial # starts with AOQ if that helps?

Thanks in advance,
Axle

sounds like a 2000 IQ cart should have a orange battery light and yes it will flash codes.......to find out what the code is you need a dianostic tool that not many people other than the dealers have but it is trying to tell you something............when charging do you leave charger on till it kicks off by itself? if not that could be why but i,m quessing best thing is to leave charger on until its done if your not to see if it quits flashing.......another thing is i see those lights malfunction also..............if you havn,t yet start by testing the batts for voltage and load voltage make sure your batteries are good and everything is clean and tight ( cable ends )..............a good 8 volt battery fully charged should read almost 9 volts so after a full charger take readings from each battery if they are say 8 to 8.25 volts or even 8.3 volts that may be why..............................
