Default DS motor post

How hard is it to change the posts on a Club Car DS 48v electric motor? The motor is good and works when tested so I am wanting to sell it but one of the posts broke.

Ouch. That is for the Field windings, which will pretty much be a motor shop repair. Kind of difficult for the typical shade tree or general repair person.

Is it worth fixing to sell? What can you get for a used motor?

Like swan mentioned, you can still get something for it. Shops will rebuild it and the resell it.

One of my local shops gave me full core credit for my stock 95 motor ($125) and I had to cut 2 of the 4 posts off at the base.
