Default 2007 club car Precedent 4/12 volt batteries

Dead no sound even with new batteries and solenoid. I’m at a loss. I hear a click when I first depress petal. Seems I’m not getting power to the key switch.

First thing you need to do is measure with a voltmeter and see if you do have power at the keyswitch. That will tell you if you have a blown fuse.

Just used a multimeter and checked the voltage and put the red lead on the positive battery terminal and the black led to either side of the switch and got 49.7 volts.

Put the Neg (black) lead on the #6 battery neg terminal. Measure to both side of the switch with the red pos lead. With the sw off you should only read 48v on one side. Turn the sw on and you should read 48v on both sides.
BTW did this just start when you put new batteries in?

No, had no change on either batteries and solenoids replacement. It had been sitting up for two years. The reason it was parked is because full speed was about 2 miles and hour.

I used the tester as described and have no power to the key switch.

Could this be as simple as the OBC failure and if so, I want to change to a charger with the built in computer and put in the bypass. Thoughts?
