More Speed
I'm new to the electric carts, used to the gas burners.
I have a 1995 Club Car 48 Volt cart, and was wondering if there are any cheap and easy(like me) or free speed upgrades for this cart. Thanks |

Re: More Speed
RULE #1 ...... There are no cheap speed gains
That being said....... I have taken a few 36v carts run them on 48v. The motors make substantial gains on the increased voltage. Something in the neighborhood of 20 - 30% gains in torque and top end speed. My idea (untested) is to take a 36v motor (used and cheap ) and toss it into a 48v cart like yours and see if the same gains are present......GPS before and after if you do this please. It works in theory .... |
