iS YOUR CART STILL A RESISTOR SET UP WITH MULTI SOLENOIDS OR WHAT? USING DIFEFRENT SIZE CABLES CAN CAUSE SOME PROBLEMS BUT ( IF ALL CONNECTIONS AND BATTERYS ARE GOOD THEY SHOULD GET BY FOR NOW)
GOING BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL QUESTION I WOULD THINK YOU HAVE A TORQUE GEAR SETUP IN THE NEW DIFFERENTIAL. DONT COMPLAIN AS THAT COSTS BIG BUCKS TO GET.
I have the 36v motor on a 48v rear end. Thanks. It might be the way to go for all my future CC rebuilds.

You could put the 48 volt motor up for sale on the Used Golf Carts and Parts and help pay for updates as you advance with your cart.
