How Much Torc....CC 95
Just a quick question...does a 95 rear end have more torc than the original 85 CC rear end? I have just replaced mine with the newer rear axle. When I stepped on the pedal, the cart seemed to have way more go than my other 1985 CC.......

Sounds like it might be geared lower? Any less top end?

Re: How Much Torc....CC 95
The new rear end came from a 48v CC and I put it on a 85CC 36v. I'm still tweaking it. I haven't put on the charger yet to get a full charge. I can't wait to see what that does.

Re: How Much Torc....CC 95
Its all wired up and charged. This cart will fly with stock parts. I just have one problem. It seems to heat up really fast. All the battery cables get so hot that I cant touch them. What could be causing this? I do have a mix (some 4ga and some 6ga) of cables would this cause a problem? Thanks for the help.

Which motor are you using? There is something wrong if you can't touch the cables.....

Re: How Much Torc....CC 95
DID YOU INSTALL A 48 VOLT MOTOR WITH THE DIFFERENTIAL AS WELL (OR) IS IT THE OLD 36 VOLT MOTOR MOUNTED ON NEWER REAR END? IF ITS A 48 VOLT MOTOR RUNNING AT 36 VOLTS THAT COULD CAUSE CABLES TO HEAT UP?
iS YOUR CART STILL A RESISTOR SET UP WITH MULTI SOLENOIDS OR WHAT? USING DIFEFRENT SIZE CABLES CAN CAUSE SOME PROBLEMS BUT ( IF ALL CONNECTIONS AND BATTERYS ARE GOOD THEY SHOULD GET BY FOR NOW) GOING BACK TO YOUR ORIGINAL QUESTION I WOULD THINK YOU HAVE A TORQUE GEAR SETUP IN THE NEW DIFFERENTIAL. DONT COMPLAIN AS THAT COSTS BIG BUCKS TO GET. |

I do have another 85CC 36v all stock and it is not nearly as fast. Could this be from the 48v rear end? Now, what to do with the 48v motor???? Any suggestions? |
