Default Quest for speed!

Option 1, PQ Bandit PH
Option 2, Alltrax Controller

My 2017 Precedent is too freaking slow and it being an EXCEL cart I can’t do an easy speed magnet. Which option would you do?

I would buy the Navitas ac system controller as. 5k motor. I had dc systems and ac is just more efficient.

The motor will get you into the mid 20's. The controller will take the speed limiting your controller has away and likely get you around 20 or so. If I was starting over again with my cart I think I would go with controller first and upgrade to 2 ga cables at the same time. Then later down the road you could go with a higher hp motor with torque and speed to get upper 20's.

I've paid my share of stupid tax trying speedylink, speed code 5, bandit rework on my motor etc, etc. get the biggest controller you can budget for it will save you in the long run.

You can look at my signature and see what I have, I get 27-28 mph level ground and hold speed on hills pretty good. I wish I had gone with 500 amp controller but really don't see the change for playing golf making much sense.

I'd do both. But to be a bit more specific I won't get the Bandit motor. It is a reworked stock motor. You will still slow down to 13 MPH on any size hill. Put another hundred dollars or so with it and get at least a 6HP(not peak HP) speed motor. Next get a Alltrax 500 amp controller w/cables and HD solenoid. Without buying the hold system you will be wasting your money unless you are going to do one component at a time then start with the controller.

Once you have the replacements in you should be able to sell your old controller and motor here in the for sale section.

25-30, I may just do the speed code for now and just buy everything at once, the combo kits will save me a few hundred bucks. Right now I’m on the fence, the more I read the more I question..
