Default Club car all sudden sluggish, no reverse

One two separate occasions after parking my cart for a few minutes, the cart would barely crawl forward and would not go in reverse at all. Voltage reading on the dash was good both times.
First time I charged it and it ran good for an hour before acting up again. After the second time I charged it and it seems a little better but more sluggish then usual.
On both occasions I was driving the cart slowly across crop fields looking for deer sheds, parked, returned to cart and it was sluggish. Didn’t know if the slow driving could have caused problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

First off, how old are the batteries and what is the pack voltage?

What year is the cart and what drive system?

Gotta be careful, b/c as iv learned the hard way in my boat. Old batteries connected with new will kill the new ones, usually not a good idea to swap out only 2.

I agree completely, but financially it was the only way to keep the cart working through hunting season. The other four batteries had good voltage under a load.

honestly it might be the issue your having, im no expert though. Have you tried to check the voltage of each battery individually with a meter?

Slow going in soft footing especially with big tires and /or heavy loads... keeps the motor in a high amperage draw situation. This high amp draw can heat up the control to a point where it goes into a snail mode. IF that is what is happening it should be okay after it cools. AND repeat.

Today I fully aired the tires. I also pumped the gas peddle 20 times( which I read could help if it’s MCOR) Beginning charge was 50.4 volts on dash meter. First big hill voltage read 45.4 volts. Cart felt like it had its usual power today.
Parked the cart for 1 hour, turned it back on and it was sluggish again. It also was jerky ( this is the first time it’s done that) which makes me think it could be MCOR. Voltage on dash was 49.5 when it was sluggish.
The controller slowing it to a snails pace sounds exactly like what it did the first two times. Could I have messed MCOR up pumping the pedal today?

No pumping the pedal scrubs the MCOR contact area clean(er)
It may be time to throw an MCOR at it... they are a notorious weak spot only good for a few years in ideal conditions.

I assume I need a MCOR to MCOR 4 conversation kit. Scottyb do you sell the kit I only saw the mcor4 and plugs on your site? Thanks for all the help
