1994 36V Club Car
Cart charges fine, batteries check out fine.
When using the cart it will work and then will run a little jerky. Then stop and not move at all. I can hear the solonoid(sp) clicking when depressing the peddle. I had the solenoid(sp) checked and it is fine. After it sits it may run again for a while or may not. Now I'm afraid to use it and get stranded. Any suggestions? Chuck |

Is it lifted? Does it shut down sooner if you pull hills or have a load on the cart? Sounds like the controller is overheating and going into thermal shutdown.

What is "lifted".
About 4 years ago I had to replace the motor controller. Does this sound like another replacement? I recall it was rather expensive. Should they need to be replaced so often? |

Lifted means with a lift kit and larger than stock tires. When you replaced the controller was it a new one or rebuilt? Speed Controllers do not need replacing like that. It does sound like the controller is acting up or possibly the v-glide......but more like the controller.

I had a micro switch do me the same way. could be one of the micro switches. Most have one on the go pedal thats hooked up to the negative side of the solenoid. It is usually that one.
