I'm with ScottyB on this one. Just replace the cables and be done with it.

On another note, your first 4 batteries sound OK but the last 2 are not up to what I would call a full charge voltage.
This may be cables or charger or new battery related.
Were these readings taken after a charge and rest or did you run the cart?
How many cycles (run/charge) do you have on your batteries since you changed them?

I unplugged the cart Tuesday morning 7am after having been plugged in since Sunday nite 7pm. These readings were taken Tuesday evening with no usage of the cart, and it is still unplugged. The "cart guy" is gonna make me some new cables and I'm gonna install them tomorrow. Or should I just order some #6's from buggies unlimited ? Thanks again for all your help!

If he's reasonable, let your cart guy get your new cables, we all gotta eat.

Still, I think the battery voltages on the last 2 batteries are a little low and may be cured with the new cables and some more cycling.

Yea, I know...36 hours, that's why I'm calling on the guru's! First cycle and all subsequent cycles have lasted longer, which is maybe 5 times, now this last time with it still running and running and running for that long I started thinking something was wrong.

Ok, so I'll let the "cart guy" do the job? Now, what am I gonna do to eat since I just let the "cart guy" eat ?

Exactly Listen, you have probably have a bad battery.... DId you find a place to test your charger... I want to see that charger charge a normal set of batteries in 5-6hours after a game of golf. If this was mine I would be load testing the new batteries and looking for the defective one or two. Again I can not stress enough how important this is not to overcharge the good one .... don't charge until you find the problem....In my opinion you risk damaging the rest of the pack.... then what are you gonna eat? Batteries? If your "golf cart guy" doesn't have a load tester get one who does!

Ok, will be taking it to the cart guy today to put on new cables, check for problems, and also load testing.

Question though, wouldn't I have found out if I have dead battery when I did the metering? I thought maybe one of the batteries would have said like 2.3 instead of the 6.3-6.4 range?

The difference between completely discharged (about 5.7v) and fully charged (about 6.4v) is only 0.7 volts. If you had a battery that was only 3 volts it would be shot completely.
After these batteries are load tested and the voltage drops off drastically on 1 or more, any bad batteries will show up easily.

If you replased ond Batteries with new batteries because the charger would not turn off,
and it will still not turn off with new Batteries THEN
THE PROBLEM IS NOT the BATTERIES .
The Manual I sent of your charger planely states .

Page 5, Item #
"4. Charger does not turn off
New batteries or batteries charged in cold
temperatures may require an extended charge
time to achieve full charge. However, if the
charger runs for more than 18 hours without
shutting off, the charger is malfunctioning"

Get the charger Tested and fixed first, then wory about the Batteries.

Just for info...I got new batteries because old ones we're 3 1/2 years old, and just barely able to get around the course let alone go up any hills. I've never got more than 4 yrs. on any set anyway so I figured it was about time. With the old ones, the charger would shut off after about 10-12 hours, but never after 5-6 hours even when those old ones were previously new ones when they were put in.

1. OK, yea I'm gonna have the charger load tested, before I do anything.
2. Gonna put new cables on as well.

I hope to get this done tomorrow, and post back...
