Update...I used the cart yesterday and played almost two full rounds. Yea, it even ran better with those new cables, I could really tell, I guess it was giving the motor more "juice" as well!

I measured the voltages before plugging in and four of them were 6.24-6.25. Now, I say four because I had forgot to mention that the "cart guy" had previously installed a 12v radio, oh probably some 6-8 years ago, and that it was using the other two batteries out of the full pack, and those two batteries measured 6.20. He also mentioned that I should install a separate "kill" switch for the radio (which he's ordered, a 30amp'er), and also have the power for the radio rotated amongst different pairs of batteries in the pack, every 3-4 months or so. Yea, these two of the pack were the ones previously mentioned (prior to the new cables) that also had more significant differences in voltages.

Um, let me see, I also sprayed some battery terminal protectant on each connect to help prevent any corrosion. That's all I can think of for now.

Thanks!

Update #2...oh yea, golf, so in my book it's a four-letter word! OK, so yes I played 1 round yesterday, then did some additional driving around in it for a couple hours, then some partying and didn't get home 'til about 10pm last nite, at which time I plugged it back in.

Probably a long time between unplug and back to plug-in, but as I went to garage this morning at 6am, I caught it just at the right time to hear it click off. So a total of 8 hrs. charge. I think that would be fine given the amount of driving and lenghty time between plug-in's...whaddya think?

even though you have some new batteries besides checking voltage have you load tested each battery and tested all cells with a hydrometer?any battery can show good voltage but than fail under a load because of severasl things including but not limited to bad cells or 1 bad cell............so if you didn,t you want to load test and check cells.............i didn,t read the whole thread so if this was covered i,m sorry but if it wasn,t covered your gonna want to cover those bases.............................
