Default Fried Motor?

'93 36V. Club Car. Two upper motor cables frayed and fused together. Motor won't work. Questions: how to test the motor (posts are not numbered or lettered) and the controller. Thanks.

Default Re: Fried Motor?

Take the cables off and check for continuity between the terminals and the motor housing and check for continuity between the feild and armature. Chances are you melted the insulation and shorted to the case. As far as the motor/controller terminals go your going to have to look at the various diagrams etc to tell whats what.
