It says "ACCU POWER" automatic charger on the front. What part(s) do you think would have to be replaced?

Re: 36v club car charger not working
Well there is a fuse on each cart , if your charger works on his cart then it
IS NOT HIS Fuse. My 1995-1996 Maintanence/Service has a entire section devoted to the ACCU Power charger , Testing and repairing. If you and he share close to the same year and type of cart your best bet is to order the Maintanence/Service manual for your cart. The OEM manuals generally cover multiple years, Gas and electric (36 and 48 Volt) and chargers. They run between 50-75 Dollers. Or you may try the just swapping Biggies first, like your's and his transformer , you might hit it lucky first shot !! What year is your and his carts ? |

Re: 36v club car charger not working
start with fuse and diodes, they are the most common things unless its carried around by the cables than you,ll want to take a good look at where they go into charger to make sure no wires rubbed thur or broke...........chances are if the circuit breaker on charger dosn,t pop when plugged in than both primary and secondary transformers are good.......as mentioned there is a troubleshooting section and a step by step by the #,s testing section in the manual...........................just checked one a week ago and its the 1st i have come across with a bad transformer............be very careful if you test transformer as for some test you have to plug charger in so your playing with real voltage there..........................
