Nice cart scottyb. Looks like the gears played a little hockey... I love the sunroof. I would swap it out for a sliding ragtop though.

WOW... no molten copper but i did get that funny smell

time to upgrade
I was rereading this thread and saw this post which caught my attention. I have seen posted out here several times that a 48V pack couldn't put out more than 500Amps, so it was a waste buying over a 500A controller. With the numbers your software is showing, it kinda blows that theory right out the window--I didn't catch what Amp controller you were playing with but, I would guess a 700A ??

I think he is playing with the 650 48v alltrax he bought from me
Just an update from the wheelie cart (98 dcs txt) I replaced the gear cluster...... and the motor.....which had granaded ... I'll put batts in it today. I have less than a 50% chance the controller works

yes ox your right

the MAXIMUM current you can pull from a GC batt is 550 to 570 amps give or take

BUT swap those for some cranking batts and i can hit the controllers limit of aprox 900 amps!

thats why all those racing guys use optima or somethin like it
