Question Home Theater in an '05 Precedent

Anyone had any luck fishing cables inside the 1" square tubing for the roof support?

I'm gonna try and run two #16's, and a video cable through this pipe to feed to overhead 10.2" flip-down lcd (which is being fed from the in-dash CD/DVD Player SONY MEX-DV2000).

DVD Player actually has 5.1 outputs, but I'm just gonna start with a pair of 6"/tweeter seperates driven by the deck, and amps/more speakers will come later.

I could always just dress 'em to the outside of the tubing, but inside would look so much cleaner....

If you use something a little stiffer like a semi stiff wire (I used lead solder.) then attach the wires you want to run through to the solder and pull it through. That usually works ( for me)

OLD ELECTRICIAN TRICK using a vacum cleaner hose, suck a light string through tubing and then attach wiring to that string and pull wherever you need. If you have problems getting string through add a small wad of cotton near end to close off extra space and it should work great for your needs. I have used this methed many times and it has saved me many hours trying to run a wire or electrical snake through pipes etc.
