Question how to check selonoid 1999 48 volt

its not clicking does this mean no good?

It could mean it is not being activated.... do you have a digital voltmeter?

Someone needs to combine these and jmj1975 need to stay with 1 thread until
it is resolved

jack the rear of cart up get wheels off ground than get a peice of 6 gage cable..............jump across the large post on solenoid and than turn key on put in gear and slowley press pedal.............if wheels start spinning than your on the right track and yes it could be be a bad solenoid........make sure wires to solenoid are ok make sure micro switch is ok if so replace solenoid.......even a solenoid that clicks can be bad and one that dosn,t click it could be something like power not getting there to activate it.......its not uncommon at all for solenoids to go bad.....................................
