Default Maximum System/Battery Current?

I was wondering about "maximum" continuous current, and hope some folks can weigh in. What I think will answer my questions, is hearing from folks these 4 things (looking for 48v configuations): Looking for real world examples

Speed Controller Used: Stock Curtis

Motor Used: PlumQuick IQ

Maximum Measured Continuous WOT Current: 26+ continuous

Cool Scuba - is that your current (amps) or speed (MPH)? I was looking for battery-to-motor current...Just wanted to make sure

I dont think mose people out here have the equipment to measure the amp draw required for these setups.

That's speed/mph...

Sorry, I don't have an amp meter hooked up to show amp draw, just a digital voltmeter.

Yeah, kinda figured that since it was hard to find. Someone Im sure has this info; just need to find it....

My 2001 EZGO is stock (to my knowledge at least, just bought it) but I measured volts and amps today (volts is easy, amps using a DC clamp meter - my other hobby requires me to measure DC amps into the hundreds :) )

So, 38V+ unloaded, drops to as low as 33V @ ~200A if you nail it from standstill. Pulls about 150A continuous up our driveway, which is pretty steep.

Eflyguy - can you recommend a good, clamp meter? What is you other hobby working with these currents?
