It does not matter if you get a newer card (DS type) you will still get the same speed,
10-12 average, without modifications.

I have not cleaned the terminals or replaced any wires yet, getting my camper ready for the holiday weekend. I took the golf cart to my camp site, when I got it of the trailer, the reverse works but has no power. I couldn't go in reverse in the soft ground. It seems if I get it going in reverse, the longer it goes, the faster it goes. What are your thoughts on this. Actually it seemed to take off pretty fast in forward. I'm picking up a hydrometer after work in the morning. Thanks, Chris

make sure all your solenoids are engaging ( working ) and that all micro switches are working.......this will effect reverse.............check your cables you want cable ends and battery terminals good, clean, shiny and tight......test your battery voltage and than load test each one check cells for water and if needed use distilled water only and test cells with a hydrometer ....write #,s down and post them........as for your cables if you see you need a 10 inch cable don,t slap a 2 ft cable there unless iyts just to get the cart back to camper..............i have seen people use 40 ft of cable where 15 ft woulkd have been more than enough..............so check all these basic things and your solenoids than post your findings we,ll be able to go from there......................................
