My 2005 Precedent project
New to the site and wanted to show you what I've been doing the past week.
Picked up an 05 Precedent and ripped'er apart. Custom Tru-Flamed paint 6" Jakes lift SS column cover Custom made rear seat for my 2 girls or 1 adult Light kit Wheels are on the way, 23" on 12" custom aluminum wheels as well as a convertible top so I can get it in the trailer. Here's a few shots or you can go here to see pics added as work progress' GOLF CART PICS Enjoy: I have arm rests coming for the rear seat and need to do a seat belt as well as a carbon fiber dash trim. I think I'll be done, but you know how it goes. I keep seeing stuff I want. I think a call to Plum Quick for a motor upgrade is in order too... Thanks Jay |

Re: My 2005 Precedent project
Looks great--love the flame job. Hows it run with those big tires on there?? is it doggy off the line ?? How about on a slight incline, doesspeed drop off significantly??
But again--Looks Awesome!! |

Re: My 2005 Precedent project
I haven't had much seat time, but can tell you that I think it runs great.
This is my first cart and even being a HP junky, it seems pretty fast. Starts are slow, but turn hard and gass it in the dirt and I can feel it want to slid a little in the rear. Top speed should be higher wit hthe tires, so 17 before and ?? now. I'll try to get some numbers. Thanks for the comments Jay |

Re: My 2005 Precedent project
Using the GPS I got to a top speed of 19.3 MPH. Not bad for the size.
Seems fast until your using it to get around a track like VIR. It takes a while to get from the paddock to your room at the Lodge. Maybe a call to Plum is in order. Jay |

Most from my local shop Steve's custom carts in Moyock NC and then Wheels/tires from Anderson Carts in Anderson SC.
