48 volt ds motor problems
Voltage checks good at batteries. When the gas pedal is pressed i hear the solenoids click. The motor hums but the rear wheels do not move. We took the motor off and checked it and the coupler was good. The motor feels like its spinning by touching the case but its not. Any ideas.

Re: 48 volt ds motor problems
What about the input shaft? Turn the input shaft by hand and see if the rear wheels turn.

Re: 48 volt ds motor problems
The input shaft turns freely and when lifted off of the ground 1 wheel turns clockwise and the other counterclockwise. Thanks

Re: 48 volt ds motor problems
start checking your motor componants......you can check just about everything with a voltage meter and ohm meter...........................
