Default New - Member 96 Club Car Power Problem

I replaced the batteries but the car will not pull a hill. Works fine on level ground. Acts like it wants to pull but it will not.

how new are new batteries? keep in mind that new batts are only 70 to 75% and have to be broke in before they get to 100%......there are break in procedures posted thurout these forums........go over your work to double check all batts are wired correctly and make sure cables ends are good, clean and tight on each terminal.........if everything is right you should pickup your lost power once batteries are broke in.............................

Yes the old batteries were doing the same thing. I just purchsed this cart and the seller said it would need new batteries. I checked the batteries yesterday right after charging them and they read 53 volts while driving the cart once I get it going on level ground with wot they read 47 volts.
