Scotty,

Is the reverse buzzer staying on constant like it's in the Reverse position or does it do the warning beep beep beep like when rolling forward or backwards without the throttle pressed? And I could swear that the motor should only give you super slow speed when the three prong plug is disconnected, but not 100% positive on that.

Reverse buzzer works only when speed sensor is connected. It works normal in reverse and then if forward with speed sensor connected it beeps a warning but, only at top speed or 3/4 peddle which is about 10mph?

So thinking out loud, could it be possible that the controller believes there is an issue with the speed sensor, it's only way of knowing what's happening as far as speed or rolling without pedal, and slowing the cart down to a safe speed while warning you with it’s beep’s? Do you have access to a different motor that tricks the controller, such as the one I use, to test this as a possibility?

With 2 different controllers motor runs resrticted speed with or with out the speed sensor connected... Can not get the fuckenmotor off of the shaft. Had to remove housing to check motor.

If both controllers are telling the motor slow down and beeping as well... then one could assume it's an issue with the speed sensor in the motor or wiring related to the speed sensor.

That would still make perfect sense. The only variable is the buzzer making a connection for a warning tone, maybe being grounded for that one particular issue by the triple plug as opposed to being grounded differently when it senses the F&R switch placed in R position.

Wondering how the speed limit works.....one controller and 4 top speeds? So is the stock new controller set to cut out at 1/2 speed and is just working as designed? I don't know? Really beginning to dislike the IQ series carts from Club Car

A quick SIMPLE test would be to exchange the motor with a known good one and see what happens. I don't know what shipping costs are to CA from FL with a 50 pound motor but I still have my stock IQ out of my 2006 that you're welcome to borrow for testing, if you don't have one available locally to you.

PS: You know you love a challenge and since you've got the all the other systems down pat… well… you’re getting one!

THat is nice of you to offer but at $1 a pound each way .....
The stock motor is stuck on the shaft ..... Why can't the idiots at CC use 3 cents worth of neversieze on each cart? Cart is 5 yrs old and we couldn't get the motor off ! Well......we are gonna try a new speed sensor and a obc today ??? What else is there? I know the stuck motor LOL
