Can we say Holy Sh@@ BatmanÖ $50 one way is a bunch.
Anyway the offer still stands just in case. Iím also going to check on one other possibility as far as shipping to see if I could get that figure down to letís say half. Also what would a used IQ motor cost you out your way? Since you're breaking into the IQ thing it might be good to start stocking up on parts...

I went and got a rewound motor all freshly rebuilt and tested and a known good obc.... put them in the cart one at a time and tested after each piece...... and the it still surges or drops out speed wise..... I can only find one odd thing and that is during a voltage test on the motor terminals A1 and A2 while running.
They both show 49v and one drops .05 volt when running .......
The other shoots up to 70v when running ...... I don't know how or why or if it is a problem?
I do know I have replaced the motor, the controller, the obc, and the MCOR and it still runs in an on/off on off motion when the peddl;e is held steady.....

I am about ready to park it in Spriddle's barn

Scotty, when I was having trouble with mine a fella was helping me and had a couple obc that he claimed he took out of a running cart and knew they were good the third or fourth one he brought me worked.
Where I'm going with this is that on a recent thread someone mentioned about the obc being different from one year or another and it apperently isn't easy to distinguish the difference, this may be the reason mine didn't work and may also be your headache if you didn't put a brand new one in specifically for that year.

How do you get 70v out of 48? I saw something strange like this before while working with mine but passed it off at the time.

Is there any consistency to it cutting in and out or is it totally random.?

Hey look on the bright side you keep replacin all these parts you'll have a brand new cart.

I am not working on this alone. I have 2 other techs involved.... I do have all new components.... the only thing orig is the 2 wire key switch the 3wire F&R toggle and the wiring harness ..... truthfully we suspect the wiring harness at this point. So my job now is to take all of the wire sout of the harness and inspect and test each one? HEll, I dunno.... And yes I do have a new cart but I have more $ in it than neccessary and it still runs in a strange rythmic on/off pattern... ANYONE SEEN THIS BEFORE?

One Way To Test An Obc Is To Plug In The Charger If It Turns On Then Drops To Nothing Then Starts Back Up The Obc Is Reading The Pack And Should Turn Off When Charged I Have Seen It Go Bad And Not Let The Sol Work But Rare Most Likely Your Controler When They Go Bad Short To Ground You Will Get A Reading Off The Frame No Part Of Your Cart Should Ground Some Times The Risistor On The Coil Will Get Hot Most Of The Time You Will Smell A Wax Burning Someone Probly Did Not Put It In Tow And The Smallest Spark When The Cables Are Hooked Up Will Cook Your Controler I Know I Have Done This Not Good But I Have The Parts To Throw At Them. But I Also Am Learning About Elec. Carts I Worked In Pa All The Carts Were Gas Now I Live In Sc All Elec. Exp On Gas Carts Is 15 Years Elec. Three Months

I'd start with/trace back the sensor plug/three leads from the motor when doing the wiring harness testing as well as the GO peddle and the ground lead in the wiring harness to the controller.

How about PhaseTim, he might have seen this before.
