Rapid beep is steady .... You have heard the warning beep for rolling away cart. This is similar just 2 Xs as fast as the roll away beep but, no it doesn't vary with speed..... just any time you apply more than 1/2 throttle or if rolling fast down a hill any added throttle will cause the warning to come on ???

hello, lightning here, hope i can help, i have a 03 iq cart, i would never use a reducer, it hooks up to the last battery and then sends out a 8volt signal to 12 volt acessorys, this is a future problem for 12 volt items in the future it also causes the last battery to drain at an uneven rate, after this happens it will take its toll on the rest of the batteries, it would be money well spent to replace your reducer with a converter, that takes an even drain on all the batteries at an even rate, these run about 120 to 160 depending on were you buy it, but keep in mind those 8 volts can run in excess of 600 to replace themm all, good luck lightningcart

May I ask what the reducer/converter has to do with the rapid beeping of his reverse buzzer while at mid to full throttle? I'm a bit lost on that one.

I know that the reducer has an effect, unless it is wired wrong into the buzzer, rather than the negative, those to wires are close together, i,m thinking if the power is wired into this, then when the cart uses more or less juice, then it may be sending a signal, i really was making more of a comment about the negatives of a reducer over a converter, lightningcart

Yep! I took it for that And very solid advice too. Unfortunately we have cut all accessories and the flippin reducer out of the system in an effort to minimize sid eeffects.... thanks for trying to help

I go there several times a year so it's possible but I don't remember your cart. Maybe if you post a picture of it and your RV... I'm sure that would help jog the old memory.

We decided that the factory new controller was defective...... A new new controller is in the mail and I anxiously await it's arrival.
