Congrats on the big 12,000

I hope that controller fixes all the challenges you've had so far as well.

Have I told you guys how much I HATE my IQ car, LATELY ???????
Well I got this email from my controller rebuilder after he tested my "no good" controller... Remember we have replaced the motor, speed sensor, controller, solenoid, batteries and mcor on this fuckingcart.

Good morning Scotty
I have tested the second controller you sent me back .First I tested it on the circuit board tester , no defect found , next I hooked up the programmer to look at fault codes , it showed that you had an over voltage this only means that you have good batteries and when fully charged they read over 50 volts , the next fault is the one that conserns me , it shows thermal cutback , this means that either you are climbing some extremly steep hills or the vehicle is being overloaded with weight . in the third test I cleared the fault codes and installed this controller on my test car .After several runs up and down hills I hooked the programmer back up and found no faults .I hate to say it but you have another problem with your car it is not the controller .
Please let me know what you find out I am curious

So now what?

SCOTTYB- What a crock? same old "story back to you to solve"? I used to fight with auto manufacturers just like that about sub standard parts and wiring they put in?
Im with you they were SH-- to start with and SH-- to repair and SH-- to keep running. Some SUPPOSED ENGININER SHOULD HAVE ALL OF THEM UP THE A--.
Tear the BLANKY BLANK parts out and put some reliable parts in that will work.
ITS NOT WORTH AN ULCER OVER??

I've seen that splice on my cart. What's the big deal about it? Could it not just be soldered, vs replacing the wire harness?

The cart went to a dealer and they gave us a heck of a deal on a replacement ...... There are a few of those welds.... you will see them on your wiring diagram. The ones I tested did have continuity but? The problem was solved and we moved on
