Just to make sure the gravity tester was working I tested two jon boat 12v batteries and all cells test in the good range (1300 range)...fully charged

So, I will just recharge everynight until I can get some new batteries....I am guessing you will say that charging them everynight is not going to help increase the usuage of the old batteries that are in there now.....Right
Please don't stop charging nightly after you get the new batteries. It will not hurt to charge the new ones every night. There is a procedure for charging new batteries that needs to be followed along with as Scotty mentioned battery care and maintenance for optimum life.
Glad your on the right track, yea, Scotty rocks but don't tell him, he's already tuff to be around!!

Yea...I have noticed he is good....Just want to thank all you guys again for you help and info...and to let you know how bad I need my golf cart...Its a (hard life) here...I am retired and live in a camper on Topsail Beach, NC..(topsail is the only beach where it is legal to go topless in NC that I know of)..( hard life) .and being here I feel OBGLIGATED to fish, so when the Spanish mackerel, grey and speckled trout, and the Virginia mullet start running I need my cart to load the surf rods, beer/bait bucket and umbrella to the beach which is about 200 yards...( hard life) .and there are soo many distractions there...all those women walking up and down the beach in there bikinis making me miss lots of fish strikes plus the bruising of the arm from the wife..(hard life) .Then there is the bay side, if the surf is rough...I use my cart to pull my jon boat to the bay looking for those red drum and flounder...and thats at lease 75 yards...whats worst is having to eat all the fish and seafood,.ie.shrimp, blue crabs, clams, oysters...etc...(hard life)...then there is the evening public relations thing with the 400 plus other campers...have to find out who,s doing who or what and listen to all the fish lies.....just a hard life....
so now you probably can see why my cart is so important to me....
Again thanks to all and I will try to survive here at the beach.....
Bill
