K.....she's home.....spent the weekend clean and puttering.....took lots of pics of the existing wiring.....and ripped out all the existing rotted stuff.....

In talks with PQ about the motor......gonna go 48......all #4awg...ugrade the controller to a 4845P Alltrax....upgrade the solenoid to a White Rodgers 586 (scratch this, as I got a Albright sw-200 instead)...6" lift, and 22" or 23" rubber.....HD F&R Switch....Jury is still out on the Speed Switch....

As you can see from the pics, the Electrics are shot.....

Against my better judgement, I am gonna get Exides.....8Vs.....the cart's budget is gonna be thin at best so $65 a piece (no tax, delivered) sold me on 'em....I know, I know....Trojans are better....

For the charging port......anyone know where I can find the specs, or a source to get the fuse?.....got a new charging recepticle coming alreay, but kinda in the dark about the fuse, as the existing was too far gone to tell what it was...

what about replacing the OBC ,
If this cart has one , then to get the full use from the charger you will need to replace the 36 Volt OBC with as 48 Volt OBC ?

Did I some where miss this being a 36 volt cart? If he is upgrading to 48 volts I would get either a automatic internal charger, or a timer type charger and forget about an OBC altogether? Costs seem close on either type as a replacement.
On my own 1996 48 volt cart I am going this route after having changed 2 OBC's through the years. Too much expense for me to keep replacing OBC?

Was a 36V, and will be a 48v.....No existing OBC.....and no plans to install one.......Charger is planned to be this....http://www.lvssales.com/store/produc...cat=298&page=1.....

Looks like the F/R Switch maybe "save-able"......all micro-switches work perfectly....
