Re: 1995 Club car electrical help
The serial number and info you gave me tells me that your cart is a "POWER PLUS MODEL" with automatic slow down when going down hills. The motor is turned into a sort of generator-charger while slowing down, thus sopposedly saving on brakes? Just to clarify one item there is a plastic box mounted near your right leg with the ROCKER TYPE switch mounted on top? this is an electrical way of switching from F&R without having to move a large lever and having a moving switch that does give more problems than what you have. This model has an additional solenoid with a single resistor mounted with it behind your battery pack, that turns on when coasting so as to recharge batterys and slow vehicle down. As I understand this is a much more expensive model to replace electrical parts on than the normal DS series, but is set up similair to the Precedent newer models? I have never worked on one of these models so I will be going by basic info that batterys etc are all the same except to the items mentioned.
