my 95' 48volt is running on 36v 6volt batteries?
Just bought a used 95 cart and relized its got 6 volt batteries in it ! It runs but def seems slow..Also when its charging the amp meter maxes out and doesnt go down but still seems to charge the batts? Any comments or suggestions?

Right now you may have good batteries to sell..... in a couple of weeks of use they will be dead......and charging them with a 48v is just cooking them to death...... It is no good anyway you go .... Go back to the seller with this problem and ask him to exchange the batteries he bought for the correct ones?

i agree get them out of there........in a month or so they might not even take a charge and its quite possible its going to take the OBC with it............................................

Are U sure it is not a 36 Volt Cart and he just gave you a 48 Volt charger ?

just thinking out loud here..., but shouldn't the voltage (with 36 volts of batteries) be too low for a 48 volt charger to even turn on.

Are you sure its 6 volt batterys? How many fill holes in top, does it have 3 or 4 holes?

actually it is perfect the 48 Volt Powerdrive charger will come on if it detects 36 Volts any lower and you have to charge them externally.
