85 Club Car DS Too fast
Hi all - Love this site. Almost have dads cart ready for the campground but it seems to only have one speed and it's too fast for him. How do I slow this beast down. Thanks Mike

Re: 85 Club Car DS Too fast
An 85 CC should have about 4 speeds Sounds like you only have one of the high speeds? Check by placing the cart on jack stands in rear...... Remove the seat and slowly push the gas Listen for 5 solenoid clicks. The first is the master... after that each click is a speed or 'gear' you shoould hear and see the cart accelerate with each click.
Solenoids are activated by the microswitches in the silver box at the end of the throttle linkage....1 micro for each solenoid |
