83 36 volt electric club car
Good low speed, then hesitates as acelerator is pressed and then lunges into high speed. could this be the solenoid problem ? If so, how do we check individual solenoids.

Re: 83 36 volt electric club car
The small terminals on solenoid will measure between 70 and 90 ohms if the coils are good. Disconnect one side and measure with ohmmeter on 200 ohm range. Large terminals will show infinite resistance until voltage is applied to small terminals, then should read no more than 2 ohms. If system is fully wired, voltage on one side of the large terminals should be seen on the other side when the relay closes.
