Re: 98 CC Acc. Pedal problem
start by posting more info if these guys are going to be able to help. year, voltage(36 or 4 and speed control type(resistor coils or controller), and do you feel comfortable using a voltmeter

Re: 98 CC Acc. Pedal problem
Forgive me as I am completely new to this cart stuff. My cart is a 98 club car, 36 volt, not sure about speed control......I need some diagrams showing the difference I guess. I think I can handle a voltmeter...with proper instruction of how to conduct test. Got this cart at auction of used golf cart being replaced at local golf course.

Re: 98 CC Acc. Pedal problem
look behind the batteries--do you see some heavy gauge steel coils?? are those coils mounted on top of solenoids or to a mounting board with the cables bolted to the coils. Im not sure when 36V controller carts appeared, but if you see no coiled wires behind the batteries, look for a long rectangular shaped box approx. 10" x 4" with a bunch of wires going to it. Lets figure out what system we are working with first
