Programming Alltex Controller
Later today or maybe tomorrow, I will have a new Alltrax 500 amp controller installed and ready for programming.
I find instructions for using a PC and RS232 serial cable to make the connection to the controller. However, I find no such connection on the controller. Anybody know where that is? Is it maybe under the plastic disk on top of the controller? tnx/pjs |

Re: Programming Alltex Controller
Well, it depends on the controller too. If you got an AXE then the RS232 port is under the black plug. It's about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
If you got an NPX, its non-programable. |

Re: Programming Alltex Controller
Unfortunately, the new controller will not fit under the stock controller's protective cover which means it could get wet. I do notice that there are some plastic fastener openings on top of the new controller that might be meant to secure some kind of cover.
Anyone know or have any ideas? |

Re: Programming Alltex Controller
If you refer to 2 plastic screw recepticles they are for the solenoid
Can I buy the old environmental cover if you can not use it? I have a cart which needs one. Thank you |

Re: Programming Alltex Controller
Ah, ha! What we can learn on this forum. I've already attached my new solenoid to the area where the stock unit was located.
I may use the plastic receptacle holes to attach a home made cover if Alltrax does not make them. Re old environmental cover, send me a note on this forum. tnx/pjs |
