Default is this a controller problem

problem started when using reverse you had to get the accelerator in just the right spot to move if you didn't hit the sweet spot no go forward was normal i used it this way for months now the same started when using forward and yesterday it won't move at all solenoid clicks but no go

Bink, I just had the same problem on a 97' with a controller. Problem
was, some of the small wires that went to the controller had what
looked like burned, maybe rusted connectors that were not making
good contact. Replaced the connectors on the wires and it's
back in business. Good luck.

Also, check the micro switches on the forward/reverse shifter.

thanks big bump when i get back to where my cart is i'l check those items when you say you had the same problem do you mean exactly did yours quit completly?

Started one day when it would not reverse out of the cart stall. By the
time I drove it to the pro shop, it would reverse. Then one day it
just completely quit both directions. Funny thing, the solenoid still
clicked, but still wouldn't run when solenoid was jumped. I hope your
fix is something simple like this was.
