re: advice in tech sections

look, you have to quit giving advice on things you know nothing about. If you continue to do so we will have no choice but to ban you from the site. We can't have you doing that here. You will not get another warning.

If he does it again just let me know, he can go be smarter than everybody elsewhere.

I would definitely want someone to tell me I was going to blow my cart up if I listened to someones advice on here. I understand we're all going to have different opinions and ways of fixing things, but I would want a heads up to something that would set me back.

Well, I appreciate all the advice. I like to have everyone's input because about everybody has a different opinion. So I like to compare all the advice.

I have, however, talked to a guy at alltrax and two different guys that build these motors and all three of them said that I should definitely not go higher than a 4HP motor on a 300amp controller.

After I've weighed all the options and advice and thrown all my variables in (where I will use the cart and how), it seems that my best option is to upgrade controller to 500amp, get a lot more HP motor, and drive drive drive.

Thanks again for all advice!

Yes, I appreciate that too. I don't know much about this stuff but at least smart enough to realize that that was bad advice from the get go. But some people may not know jack about this stuff and may not have realized that.

I do appreciate people jumping in and saying "Hey, DON'T DO THAT!"

PizzaMaker,

Is that a Mr. Brownstone quote in your signature there?

Great song!

Yes I feel that we should state our feelings about incorrect info, "BUT DONT GET PERSONAL" is my thought?
