Default Greetings from Ostrander Ohio

Came home to find a cart in my driveway; a Fathers day gift from my wife. It's a clean but old (87) Club Car DS Electric.

No dings or cracks in the body, no holes in the seats, no damage at all that I can find. The silver braces are a bit corroded and some paint/parts are faded. Runs very well. Came with a charger.

I started to look around to see what two tires are going to cost me and also if there might be accessories I could add to my new toy. Good Gawd! There are all manner of "stuff" I can buy. This is going to be a lot of fun.

First project this winter will be a paint job. Something bright I think.

Well.... nice to be here ladies and gents... looking forward to exchanging thoughts, experiences and ideas with ya'all. :-)

PS Starting my list:

Light kit (headlights tail lights, brake and turn)
brush guards
wheels and tires (something slightly knobby on something spoked and shinny)
mirror
rear fold down seat (carry the kids when they finally stop by for a visit and carry tools when they aren't around)
maybe stiffer springs (for all the grandchildren I seem to be accruing) :-)

Go to any local club car, yamaha dealer in area and ask if they sell their "new take off tires". these are new tires on steel wheels that get taken off and replaced by fancy aluminum rims and tires. dealers here sell the for around $30.

HEY--From Spokane Valley, Washington- Welcome aboard. She gave you the cart so you have a built in excuse for "ongoing repairs".
