Big dawd, If you are riding your cart for a week on a 3 hr charge they WILL die after a short life Lead acid GC batteries should never be drawn down below 50% charge. See the chart below for easy reference Do you own a voltmeter? THose batteries sure know they went to 'hillbilly hell'
P.S. Did you ever hear of such thing as proper break in for GC batteries? I didn't think so

Nice chart. I wish my printer was up. That's a good reference.

I have not. Please inform me.
I really did not know you had to do anything special.

Well, opinion may vary, but nost agree that :
1. charge fully before 1st use
2. recharge at 70% - 75% capacity.
3. Let charger run the full cycle, until it shuts off
4. repeat 10 - 12 times then increase draw gradually to as much as 50%
5. Never draw the batteries below 50% capacity
Good luck & enjoy the ride

Thanks,
I did not know that.

I have noticed that the more I charge and use the ones I have, the longer they last. I have no belief they will last. The cart has sat for three years in a warehouse with nothing being done. I am surprised they work at all.

I'll need new ones very soon, so I really appreciate this information.
