Now I am in a quandry. Strech, Wicked and Allsports say that they don't have lift kits for the old 75-80 club cars because they are so different than the models after 81. Looks like I don't get a lift , but what the heck I can still have fun right?

I know The kit will bolt to the cart. Just not sure about the steering linkage. I don't believe your cart has a rack and pinion. I know it has been done before. Just don't want ta sell ya a kit and not be certain that everything will bolt up.

Thank You. As I said in my intro post, I knew I was tying into a good forum when I got here. Your honesty and help of others has already confirmed that. BGW rules.

Dirty South. I will take some pics of the frontend this weekend and post them up next week . Thanks

so much for remembering the pics. Got so dang busy painting the house etc, that I forgot. Maybe next weekend.

I did check and it does NOT have ring and pinion steering. some kind of linkage system.

impdaddy, The tie rods appear to be in the right spot. Can you get a pic of the steering gear and possibly the frame where the spring mnts.? Looks like there is hope...

DS I will do that but not until next weekend. We only use the cart at our cabin on weekends or hunting season whichever comes first.
