Is this a taboo subject? What I paid for my cart.
Just wondering.....
87 DS Electric. Used but servicable batteries. Body in very good shape, no dings, scratches, holes, marks and the paint is very good. Tires good, mechanicals good as far as I can tell. Came with a windshield and top and a large heavy duty charger. Wife paid $1500. Location is central Ohio. Would this be a correct range for such a vehicle? Roll Added in edit: Was privately owned by a farmer, (not sure that's a good thing). No upgrades I can see. Batteries are 2003 "Workaholics" (Never heard of the brand) Last edited by Roll; 06-26-2009 at 08:00 AM.. Reason: More info |

Yep. Thats average her. But costs vary around the country and depending upon several factors...was it privately owned or GC rental? Good tires and any upgrades?

Just for comparison, neighbor bought a 90, body was new looking. Privatly owned, 03 trojans, top and windshield. This cart is really clean, The underside is still shiny, it shows very little use. He paid 1400. The only down side i see to these older carts is the drive system(resister coils). Good camp ground cruiser.

Just bought our '90 Club Car with tinted windshield, wood grain dash / glove box covers, all weather cover, good tires, rear seat, and mister...super clean. Garage kept for $ 1500.00. Bought from a resident at our boat club property that just purchased a new cart. Thought it was a pretty good deal.

Got my 05 48v DS IQ last year for $2200. Typical golf course setup, basket, windsheild, sand bottles, trojan bats, good tires and bag cover. Came from a 9 hole course across the GA line. Runs like a champ, did 72 holes in her this past weekend.

If it doesnt run $300 maybe, if it runs maybe $600, buy them cheap as you can then put new supports and U-Bar off newer DS, paint body and supports, now you have a nice car worth $2000
