Default do I have a faulty controller, pot, or?

I have a 91 Club Car that was converted to solid state with a Curtis and a after-market PB6 pot, giving several years of trouble-free service to the previous owner. Now that it is mine, it either refuses to move at all (good loud solenoid click moving between forward and reverse) or will, occasionally, move but shut down with anything more than very little 'throttle.' It also seems to want to 'creep' at times (with no throttle) after teasing me with few moments of movement. All cables and connections are sound and tight. Any ideas? Also, is there a 'basic and simple' wiring diagram for the set-up. Any help will be met with, dignified, but rapturous glee.

Default Re: do I have a faulty controller, pot, or?

Welcome to BGW!
There will be no wiring diagram for a home conversion? There are a couple of ways to wire this so you have to work on theory when trouble shooting...... once you have a good understanding of how the system works you will not have any trouble following the set up. Sounds like the POT is failing...never did like those chinese ones. it shoould test 5k-0 or 0-5k ohms depending upon which system you have. It could be either.
