Adjustable MCOR Link
There have been complaints about the lack of adjustment for the link between foot pedal and the CC MCOR speed controller. I have solved that problem on my cart with a piece of plastic pipe and some hose clamps. It is not pretty, but is simple and works.
Essentially, I cut in half the rod from the pedal to the MCOR and then rejoined it with a piece of slotted plastic pipe and hose clamps. Hold one end against the pedal while rotating the other end to take up slack and tighten the clamps. I used a piece of 1/2 inch plastic pipe with a slot cut on a table saw. For safety, the pipe was longer during the slotting. The slot is need to close up the difference between the 1/2 inch I.D. pipe and the 7/16 inch O.D. of the rod. |

Re: Adjustable MCOR Link
Could put a a lock collar on each end of the pipe, locking them down on the rod.

Ingenous .... when you cut it could you tell if it was aluminum or pot metal? Maybe it could be tig welded? I have one I still need to deal with (03 DS)

Re: Adjustable MCOR Link
THe potentiometer and the controller need to be matched. Each type of throttle indicator device puts out a different kind of a signal. So you can't interchange a potentiometer with a MCOR with an ITS .... They need to speak the same language. Your controller can only read one type of throttle, indicator unless it is programable....
