Installed new batterys, but cart doesnt run good
Just baught an 02 club car, it didnt come with batterys. I baught new batt. and batt wires, installed them and the cart runs, but it seems like it is loseing power very quickly. I can run it about 75 yrds and it acts like the batterys are going dead. I charged the new batterys overnight, so i know they got to be fully charged..Anyone got ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks |

Sounds like you may have a battery issue (1 could be bad)
What type of batteries did you buy? |

What do you have to test them? Can we get individual voltage readings?

I tested them. Together it was 38.6v and individual it was 6.4v. Could the selonoid play a part. some of the wire have corrosion on them

Re: Installed new batterys, but cart doesnt run good
I think somebody put a 36volt pack on a 48v cart... you will need 2 more batteries in that case, and you will have a lot of run time..

I don't think they made a 36v in 2003?
