1999 Club Car
Good morning! I am looking at buying another cart but don't know if it is a good deal or not since i haven't been around these things long. It is a 1999 Club Car with an EMP 2 motor, 6" lift and tires and the batteries are probably 3-4 years old. I can get it and a few extra tires (he had a few too many beers before ordering) for $1000. Is this a good deal?
Thanks a lot, BAF |

Re: 1999 Club Car
assuming its in decent condition and its not all beat up..and the fact its a controller cart right? In this area that would be a very good price for you to grab it at.

Re: 1999 Club Car
If it has Trojan batteries look on the Negative pads and find the letter and number. A thru L are the months and the number is year of mfg. Even with older batteries if no body cracks it's still a good deal here in Washington State.

Re: 1999 Club Car
The guy told me that it is not an IQ cart and that you cannot put the EMP 2 motor on an IQ. Is this correct? If it isn't an IQ, can it still be a controller cart? Sorry for all of the questions, just trying to figure all of this stuff out.

Re: 1999 Club Car
yes it could still be a controller cart. if it isnt too much trouble, ask the guy for the serial number and that will tell you what you need to know

Re: 1999 Club Car
I haven't found out if it is a controller cart yet or not, but if it is, will my DCX500 work on it? I am trying to figure out which cart would be better for a 4wd conversion, my IQ or this one. All input is GREATLY appreciated!
