I dunno.... I suspect both parties are to blame for letting the cart sit with the batteries discharged for months. But that will for sure kill them and so they are both to blame and should split the costs of replacement in my opinion....

Never assume you have Bad batteries.
Get a Digital Volt meter and a Hydrometer check each Battery and post results Here.

Also here are some numbers to Compare to State of Charge Readings

I will get a voltmeter. The reason the cart set in the shop for over a year was because Every time we would call to check if it was ready he would say no were waiting on parts. So finally after a year of listening to that excuse we drove up there and yelled at him for lying first of all because they were driving it around at the shop. Then the guy told us it was ready and that we can take it but to charge the batteries separately and then charge them as a whole. So two days later we went and got it. When we got home we did as instructed and charged every battery separately. But now The 48v Club Car Power Drive charger will only turn on for a few minutes before a circuit breaker on the charger flips to turn it off. No the batteries are not charged because when you turn the cart on the orange battery light turns on too.

I sure hope you didn't pay him! Assess those batteries and we will go from there.

Haha ya. We went to him once and only waited about 2 weeks. Then the last time we went to him he kept asking to buy it but anyways I'm trying to figure out this charging issue with the breaker always flipping off.
