Question controller

Hello my controller went on my 1999 club car, I was going to replace the controller with a dcx 500 and use my stock motor is this wish thing to do.The motor is a regen type

You'll be happy with that amp controller on that cart. Just do yourself a favor and also purchase a COMPLETE 4 gauge cable replacement set. The extra amps will be more happy going through the larger cables. My neighbor(Butteface on here) did that to his cart and it made an impressive difference. 500A controller and 4 ga. cables.
