Default big batteries

So i have read all the stickies and a bunch of threads. here is my question will using three big 12v batteries work like 8D size that are used in heavy equipment they weigh about the same as six 6v batteries... anyone tried this or is there some big reason that they just won't work? please any info would be greatly appreciated....thanks

The biggest issue I see is that the equipment batteries are starting batteries, not a deep cycle battery.
A starting battery is made for a large drain for a short amount of time, and a deep cycle battery is made for a small drain over a long period of time.

The equipment batteries will not have anywhere near the longevity of golf cart batteries. You will probably go through 2 or 3 sets of the equipment batteries in the amount of time that you will go through 1 set of golf cart batteries.
